As such, we’re on the hunt for a new Senior Developer to join our Sales & Service Enablement Platforms team.


The Role


The Sales and Service Enablement (SSE) platform supports a seamless multichannel journey for customers dealing with IAG directly (majority via NRMA Insurance Brand) which involves the technology to support our colleagues on the assisted channel (Call Centre, Branch, Agency, webchat and email).


As a Senior Developer you will lead the design, development and maintenance of Verint Engagement Orchestration (EO) (product formerly known as Engagement Management) application. In this role will provide technical expertise, thought leadership and guidance for EO application development. This role will also influence/introduce/refine processes and practices within the team and across teams, with the view to deliver rapid yet reliable solutions; to embrace DevOps and Agile ways of working; and contribute to the success of SSE platform delivery team.



Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support
  • Working directly product managers and your squad team members to conceptualise, build, test and realise products
  • Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
  • Optimising performance
  • Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Working on call support roster and analysing and addressing root cause of issues

Skills & Experience


  • Computer Science degree or equivalent
  • 5 years+ industry experience as a developer
  • 2 years + Verint Engagement Orchestration (EO) development experience
  • Source management tools such as Git
  • Strong knowledge and experience with ReactJS or other JavaScript frameworks
  • Single page application architecture
  • Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration tools and processes
  • Experience in an agile environment and methodology
  • Experience working for an insurance organisation (preferred)
  • Proven experience working with CRM applications
